Bot Bash - 2nd Robot Registration Guidelines
Due to increased interest in our event, we are no longer registering 2nd robots like regular teams. All teams registering a free 2nd robot will instead have their 2nd robot added to the event waitlist in the order such registrations are received.
Teams will be notified of their 2nd robot's waitlist position, and waitlisted robots will be used to fill-in any open slots once registration closes. There is no additional registration charge for the 2nd robot.
Please note that the intention of this offer is to allow teams to bring a "practice" or "off-season" robot that would not otherwise compete, NOT for schools with multiple FRC teams (with separate FIRST-assigned team numbers) to register a second team for free.

2nd Robot Requirements
All teams bringing 2nd robots must ensure their 2nd robots meet the following requirements:
2nd Robot Benefits
Teams bringing two robots will be assigned two adjacent pit spaces, one for each robot, so tools and parts can be shared easily between them. There are no restrictions on members of a team switching between robots at any time, except during a match (IE, if both of a given teams robots are playing in the same match, their drivers can't switch robots in the middle of a match). 2nd robots will be considered part of their primary team for the purposes of all judged awards, and 2nd robots are permitted to participate in elimination matches like any other team (though we discourage teams from picking their own 2nd robot during alliance selection, it's not very GP).

Waitlist Exemptions
- Teams who wish to provide their free 2nd robot slot for a "pre-rookie" team (IE a newly formed team that has not competed in an FRC event yet) will bypass the waitlist and register the 2nd robot like any other team.
- Teams may opt to pay an additional registration fee (for a total of $600 instead of $300) to guarantee their 2nd robots registration.
2nd Robot Requirements
All teams bringing 2nd robots must ensure their 2nd robots meet the following requirements:
- All robots must comply with all FRC Safety rules.
- 2nd robots must be built to play the current years game (I.E. don't bring a robot from 2+ years ago).
- All robots must have FRC-legal bumpers as defined by the current years game manual.
- All 2nd robots must be clearly marked with a 4-digit team number on their bumpers on all sides.
- 2nd robot team numbers must be one of the FIRST-designated "Off-Season Demo Teams", which range from #9980 - #9999. You may request a specific number be reserved for you within this range, or else one will be assigned when your slot is confirmed.
- 2nd robots must have their RoboRIOs, Radios, and Driver Stations configured for their corresponding number.
- Teams bringing 2nd robots to Bot Bash MUST check-in Friday night and bring their robot to the playing field for connection testing.
